After Everything

ACT IV — THE ART OF BECOMING
There comes a moment when we look back and realise that the person we once were has become a stranger in the most familiar of ways.

Not because we have forgotten her, but because life has quietly rewritten us. Through the things we have loved, the things we have lost, the endings we never anticipated and the beginnings we never saw coming.

Like the butterfly, we emerge from a transformation whose final shape we could never have imagined at the outset. The past remains somewhere within us, though its form has changed. What once felt like an ending becomes part of the wings with which we move forward.

Perhaps becoming is not about leaving our former selves behind, but about allowing everything we have lived through to become part of who we are next.
